There are three ways to buy life insurance. You can buy it:

1. From an agent or broker
2. Directly from an insurance company
3. Online

No matter which option you choose, make sure the agent, broker and company are licensed to sell insurance in our state.

Shop around. Companies use different methods and factors to decide who they'll insure. If available, consider a group plan - some don't require a medical exam.
