Fraud investigation units
There are many types of insurance fraud, involving different groups of people, so we have three distinct groups to help fight fraud in Washington state:
- Our Special investigations Unit investigates criminal insurance fraud by consumers.
- Our Consumer Protection Division investigates complaints against insurance agents, brokers and companies.
- Our Legal Division investigates individuals and companies that try to sell insurance without a license.
