How to apply for registration as a purchasing group

  1. Download and complete the NAIC purchasing group part a and b application (PDF 2.23MB) form.
  2. Print your forms and have an authorized officer sign them. Some forms also need to be notarized.
  3. Combine the application, documents and any cover letter into one PDF.
  4. Attach your PDF and submit your application via email

We acknowledge applications upon receipt. There is no fee to register as a purchasing group with our office.

After you apply

Applications are assigned to our analysts in the order they're received. If you meet all requirements and any errors in your application are resolved within 15 business days, we'll issue your certificate of registration by email. Registrations are continuous unless voluntarily withdrawn, suspended or revoked.

You need to keep your registration information current with us by reporting any material changes or additions within 10 days after the change occurs. You can report changes to us via email
