The one-year life line of authority producer license requirement

  • If you have held an active producer license with a life line of authority (LOA) for at least one year, you may apply for a life settlement broker license. If you're a non-resident applicant, you have to have a life line license in Washington state and you have to have held a life line license in your home state for at least a year. 
  • If you haven't held a producer license with a life LOA for at least one year, you cannot apply for this license.
  • Individual resident applicants will need to have their fingerprints taken again if their last set is more than a year old. There is no fingerprint requirement for individual non-resident applicants.
