What forms to file
You are required to file all title insurance forms. See exceptions under RCW 48.18.100.
Filings must include:
- Policy jackets
- Declarations pages
- Any other form made a part of the policy
- Only applications made part of the policy
Filings should not include:
- Brochures
- Policyholder notices unless the notice amends or modifies policy provisions
- Manuscript forms used on a one-time basis
- Billing notices, binders, etc.
- Applications, unless made part of the policy
Rates and rules to file
You are required to file all title insurance rates and rules, as described in in RCW 48.29.140. See also WAC 284-29A, which describes filing requirements that will apply to rates effective on or after January 1, 2014.
