When you’ll get a Medicare Summary Notice or Explanation of Benefits
Every three months, Medicare will send you a document explaining the care you received. If you have Original Medicare, you'll get an MSN. If you have Medicare Advantage, you'll get an EOB.
These documents are not a scam. It’s important to check them carefully and make sure you received everything they list. If you think you're being charged for care you didn't get, you can review your MSN or EOB with a SHIBA volunteer.
