Driving directions

Southbound on I-5

  1. Travel south on I-5 toward Tumwater.
  2. Take Exit 102 and get into the left lane.
  3. Make a left turn onto Trosper Road. Remain in the left lane as you approach the intersection.
  4. At the intersection, turn left onto Capitol Blvd.
  5. Get into the right lane and proceed for approximately 0.1 miles. You'll see a KFC restaurant on your right.
  6. Immediately following KFC, make a right turn into parking lot of the Insurance 5000 Building.
  7. Visitor's parking is located at the front of the building.
  8. Please check in at the reception desk on the first floor as you enter the building.

Northbound on I-5

  1. Travel north on I-5 toward Tumwater.
  2. Take Exit 102 and turn right onto Trosper Road. Merge into the middle lane at the intersection.
  3. At the intersection, make a left turn onto Capitol Blvd.
  4. Get into the right lane and proceed for approximately 0.1 miles. You'll see a KFC restaurant on your right.
  5. Immediately following KFC, make a right turn into parking lot of the Insurance 5000 Building.
  6. Visitor parking is at the front of the building.
  7. Please check in at the reception desk on the first floor as you enter the building.

Handicap parking stalls are located near the building's main entrance, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible.

Driving directions

Southbound on I-5

  1. Take Exit 105 (State Capitol/City Center) keeping left for Exit 105 A, and proceed for 0.6 miles onto 14th Ave., SE.
  2. Merge with traffic on the left and get into the center lane.
  3. Proceed into the traffic circle and take the second exit through the tunnel (14th Ave., SE). Get into the left lane and proceed 0.4 miles to Capitol Boulevard.
  4. Cross Capitol Boulevard. As you cross the road, 14th Ave. will change to Sid Snyder Ave., SW.
  5. As you enter Sid Snyder Ave., SW, make an immediate right into visitor's parking. Cost for parking is $1.50 per hour from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The pay kiosk is located on your left as you enter parking area.
  6. After parking, walk towards the "Winged Victory" monument. The Insurance Building is located to the left of the monument.
  7. Enter the building through the double doors and proceed down the hall to the elevator and up to the second floor.
  8. As you exit the elevator on the second floor, turn right and proceed through the double doors into the reception area.

Northbound on I-5

  1. Take Exit 105 (State Capitol/City Center), keeping left for Exit 105 A and proceed for 0.7 miles.
  2. Merge with traffic on the right (onto 14th Ave., SW) and get into the center lane.
  3. Proceed into the traffic circle and take the second exit through the tunnel (14th Ave., SE). Get into the left lane and proceed 0.4 miles to Capitol Boulevard.
  4. Cross Capitol Boulevard. As you cross the road, 14th Ave. will change to Sid Snyder Ave., SW.

Accessibility

Handicap parking stalls are available on Capitol Campus. The Insurance Building is accessible by using the ramp on either side of the stairs to the first floor. Proceed down the hall to the elevator and up to the 2nd floor. The entrance to the reception area is to your right after stepping out of the elevator.
